A new Sales Brochure is available / 03.05.2012

The brochure reflects the "new face" of Mark Bric Display with our slogan "Speak Out": Tell us what you need and we will help you in getting your message across. The brochure is arranged in line with the general areas of use (Retail – Roadshow – Tradeshow) as well, instead of being just "product orientated".

As always, we can not expect our clients to know exactly which specific display product they are after. We should be there and guide them in the best possible way. Again, we need our clients to "speak out" and tell us what they need and intend to do. There is always a Mark Bric product to do the job!'

Flexiframe clear choice for Energy Display / 23.04.2012

Last month, Mark Bric USA teamed up with Pedal Power, a non-profit organization that promotes energy-conservation awareness, and used Flexiframe hardware to help house a mobile power generator that is powered by cyclists.

Pedal Power is based in Richmond, VA and founded by Ethan Seltzer, a former Ironman finisher, who committed himself in 2009 to his two loves: personal fitness and minimizing mankind's impact on the environment.

When Seltzer came to Mark Bric, he needed a special enclosure for a mobile power generator he designed. Panels were built using Flexiframe hardware and clear acrylic so visitors and participants could see the mobile generator working. Cyclists pedaling stationary bikes that are hooked to generators produce enough electricity to power lights and small devices. At times, enough power has been generated to cook lunch for the cyclists!

Mark Bric's Flexiframe was the clear choice for the project since the hardware is strong and light weight.

Pedal Power's goal is to raise awareness of just how much energy it takes to make enough electricity for even the simplest tasks. Did you know that pedal power at almost 1,100 watts per half hour could power a desktop computer for 7.5 hours, but only 20 minutes for a central air conditioning system?

 BannerUp Displays Help PBS Open

The Book To Love of Reading / 23.02.2012

When PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) in the USA launched its Library Corner Initiative, a national program which focuses on increasing literacy skills for children ages 2 to 8, CSI Printing & Graphics (http://www.csi2.com) teamed up with Mark Bric Display (http://www.markbricdisplay.com) for a solution and chose the BannerUp Plus (http://markbricdisplay.com/Our-Brands/bannerup.html), ordering just under 600 displays.

Since there would be children playing around the display, the display of choice needed to be capable of holding up in an active area like that of the children’s corner of a library. After reviewing several possible solutions, PBS chose the BannerUp Plus display because of its metal base cassette casing, retractable display and pole, and 40 inch (100 cm) width. The 40-inch wide unit, which is generally not as popular as the top-selling 3-foot (88 cm) unit, was the choice because its affect on the aspect ratio of the banner graphics printed by CSI Graphics. Standard BannerUp widths include 10 inches (25 cm), 2 feet (60 cm), 3 feet (88 cm), 40 inches (100 cm), 4 feet (120 cm), 5 feet (150 cm) and 8 feet (240 cm).

More than 200 libraries across the USA and 30 local PBS television stations participated in the Library Corner Initiative and used the display. The initiative was a success, and Mark Bric Display was honored to partner with CSI Printing & Graphics to help meet a need.

 ISOframe Exhibit has arrived ! / 30.01.2012
Ideal for large exhibit areas where a more advanced construction is needed
ISOframe Exhibit is the ideal system for designing and building customized large format exhibition stands. It uses fixed horizontal beams (available in 9 different shapes), instead of the flexible Wave link, to give the system the rigidity and stability needed for large size constructions. The beams are available in the following shapes: 5°, 10°, 15°, 22,5°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° and straight form. Beautiful curves or perfect straight lines can be achieved with any display.
It uses the same vertical posts as the Wave /Compact models (with the exception of the Wave base post) and with the addition of longer posts (1005, 1505 and 2005 mm) to build more quickly and economically the higher constructions. It also includes 90° and 135° corner posts as well as T-connector posts to enable further design possibilities. IF Exhibit is really a complete stand building system.

The next ISOframe generation is here! / 16.01.2012

Wave-front-1 low

The new ISOframe Wave model is now ready and in stock. A number of unique developments are introduced making the system even more attractive and easy-to-use.

Hidden Wave Link
The graphic image is now in full focus with the wave link hidden behind the panels. The new link also enables the user to "shape" the display far more easily to get that elegant Wave curve.

Improved suspension of panels
A new magnetic hanger device has been developed which makes it much easier and quicker to suspend the graphic panels on the system. Magnets help guide the graphic hanger into a specially slotted top post cap for a secure fixing.

Wave and Compact are interchangeable
With new Wave model both the framework and the graphic panels have the same measurements (width and height) as the Compact model. This enables Wave and Compact sections to be combined and the graphic panels between the two models to be interchanged as well.

Circular-Counter 2

We also introduce two
free-standing ISOframe counters,
one circular (see picture) and one rectangular.

Providing the Gift of Hope / 06.12.2011

This holiday season, Mark Bric Display USA is asking you to "Provide the Gift of Hope" and help save lives. Our company has teamed up with Donate Life America to help educate individuals about organ, eye and tissue donation and encourage them to register as donors on their state donor registry.

Currently, one of Mark Bric Display's own employees, Willie Cottle, is waiting for a liver transplant. Willie has been with our company for more than 15 years and his need has heightened the awareness of the importance of registering to be an organ and tissue donor.

There are two ways to "Provide The Gift of Hope" this holiday season:

For every "Like" Mark Bric Display receives on its Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/MarkBricDisplay) during the month of December, it will make a donation to Donate Life America on your behalf.

Additionally, any person who registers to become an organ or tissue donor through the Donate Life America website (http://donatelife.net/register-now/) and lets us know that they did by posting it on our Facebook page, will be registered to win a $250 gift card to Amazon.com.

There are currently more than 112,000 people waiting for a transplant. Help us spread the word of the need and "Provide the Gift of Hope" for someone this holiday season.

Montblanc goes on the road with ISOframe / 29.11.2011

M2-wall

This past month, Montblanc USA teamed up with Atlas Print Solutions and Mark Bric Display USA to create a 47-foot-long (15 meter) ISOframe display celebrating 190 years of the chronograph.

Montblanc (www.montblanc.com) is a German company known for its watches, writing instruments and other high-end accessories. For this particular display, the company not only wanted to celebrate the historical timepieces, but to also educate shoppers on horology—the art of measuring time.

A display wall that was also portable would be needed, since it would be a travelling display, on tour in several upscale venues throughout the 2011 holiday season. In order to make the display impervious to damage in high-traffic public spaces, the straight sections were constructed with rigid aluminium composite material and a semi-rigid expanded PVC material was used on the corner curves. High-quality Lambda prints, produced by Atlas, were then laminated onto all of the panels providing a consistent, photo-quality graphic wall.

On November 3rd, a Mark Bric Display team, consisting of John Diaz and Willie Cottle, successfully installed the exhibit for the first time at Tysons Galleria boutique in Mclean, VA, making sure everything was set-up with no problems. Atlas Print Solutions and Montblanc were thrilled with the outcome. Next stop is New York City.
